Without a game of their own, Kenshin and his gang wander aimlessly through the mobile multiverse

At the end of 2016 we had the announcement of the return of Rurouni Kenshin with the long-dreamed Hokkaido Arc, although many fans to this day do not know what it is because of the scandal involving its author, Rurouni Kenshin was ostracized in the west in late 2017.

But between its shy return and its "abolition" in the West, we had a new game announced for mobile platforms in February 2017. Rurouni Kenshin: Kengeki Kenran was “WAB” (Weapons Action Battle) game with a card system, typical from Japanese games. Unfortunately due to the problem with the author in 2018 it was discontinued.

The manga had a 7-month hiatus (December 2017 to July 2018), but despite that all the rurouni and co participated in a good number of special events in mobile games. And last Thursday (2), a new collaboration between Kotodaman and Rurouni Kenshin was announced:

Kyoutou Kotoba RPG Kotodaman (共闘ことばRPG コトダマン) or just Kotodaman  is a free-to-play RPG published by Sega/XFlag for Android and IOS devices. It is noteworthy that XFlag is one of the studios responsible for Monster Strike game in which Rurouni Kenshin also took part in a special event.

The event started last Friday (3), you can check out more on the official crossover website. The collaboration will run until 7/17 at 3:59 p.m.
